Number Line Racer nears completion

2008-08-31 @ 09:38am

August has been one of the busiest months of the year. My day job required many long nights at the office, so it's surprising that I've managed to get any work done onZoeyBot.

Earlier this month I produced another Mini Magic Show video and built a teleprompter for use withZoeyBot video based projects. I found several videos on YouTube illustrating various teleprompter projects. However, I quickly discovered that even using a teleprompter requires practice!

One of my big projects this summer is "Math Line Racer" a fully animated math tutorial which introduces kids to the number line. The project has been a great learning experience and I'm hopeful that the video tutorial will be helpful for kids learning about number line concepts. As is now common with other ZoeyBot videos, Number Line Racer is being released under a Creative Commons license and will be available for use by teachers, on YouTube and perhaps on other sites.

The images below illustrate various scenes.
